At the end of a manuscript edit, you will have:

1. An edited manuscript
2. A candid editorial letter in which I outline my recommendations on how to improve your work, plus strategic advice on the business of publishing, which is just as important as the craft of writing
3. Verbal feedback via phone for up to one hour

It takes approximately six weeks for me to turn around a manuscript edit. To reserve a spot on my calendar, I require you to sign a consultation agreement and pay the fee upfront. There are two payment options: 1) half my fee is due upfront upon signing of the consultation agreement, and the remaining half is due when I deliver the edited manuscript with my feedback to you, or 2) you receive a 15% discount if you pay the entire fee upfront upon signing of the consultation agreement.

Manuscript Edit Fee = Determined on a project-by-project basis. In order for me to quote you a fee, please do the following:

1. Go to the Categories page to determine if I work with your kind of writing: Categories
2. If I do, visit the FAQ page, as the answers to some of your questions may already be there: FAQ
3. E-mail me the information requested below at: marcelalandres@yahoo.com. Be sure to put “Manuscript Edit Request” in the subject line.
4. Attach the first ten pages of your manuscript to your e-mail. After I receive your responses and the first ten pages, I will e-mail you a fee quote.

“Although I hired Marcela Landres to edit a particular manuscript, her wisdom has transformed the way I look at the craft of writing and the business of publishing. Working with her has improved everything I write. Regardless of the work-in-progress or whether I am in the creative or promotional process, I revisit and consult Marcela’s detailed notes with great success. No matter what your project is, you can't go wrong hiring Marcela Landres. You can only get in your own way by choosing to not heed her advice.”—Sofia Quintero, author of Efrain's Secret and Divas Don’t Yieldhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0375847065?ie=UTF8&tag=marcelalandre-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=0375847065http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0345482387?ie=UTF8&tag=marcelalandre-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=0345482387testimonials.htmlshapeimage_2_link_0shapeimage_2_link_1
